Providers
Companion was built by veterinarians and pharmacy professionals to address a recurring challenge in practice. When prescriptions leave the clinic, delays, confusion, substitutions, and fragmented care often follow. As medications move outside the veterinary ecosystem, control and continuity are lost.
Companion exists to keep prescribing clinical, connected, and centered on the patient while extending the care you provide in the clinic into the home.

Medications Forms Designed
for Veterinary Patients

Compounded capsules allow precise, patient-specific dosing when commercial strengths are inappropriate. They are commonly used for small dogs and cats to avoid unsafe tablet splitting and dosing inaccuracies.

Medicated chews are used to improve compliance for patients that resist traditional oral dosing. They are available in multiple strengths and are commonly selected for chronic therapies when oral administration is feasible.

Compounded otic formulations are used for acute, chronic, or refractory otitis, including cases that fail commercial products. Preparations are dispensed in syringes with flexible applicators to support accurate dosing and safe administration, with options for culture-directed therapy when needed.

Compounded oral suspensions and solutions support accurate dosing for patients that are difficult to pill or require dose titration. Liquids are frequently used to improve adherence and avoid the challenges of tablet splitting or capsule manipulation.

Custom compounded tablets provide dosing flexibility when commercial products are unavailable, backordered, or unsuitable for the patient’s size. Scored options may be used, when appropriate, to support accurate administration.

Our transdermal formulations are prepared at consistent, clinically appropriate concentrations such as methimazole 5 mg per 0.1 mL. Dispensing pens deliver 0.05 mL per click, allowing for precise, repeatable dosing and easy topical application.
